River Ranch Herd Sires

Domino-

I firmly believe that this bull is the single best offspring of the Swede line of cattle, period.

Domino is a stud!  His red & white paint color is absolutely incredible.  He sports a rich red color from nose to tail, with a heavier red shade on his neck and rear, superbly contrasted by bright white highlights.  I've not seen many animals that mature and keep such a rich color as Domino.  Many reds seem to lighten and fade as they reach breeding age, but not this boy.

One of Domino's coolest characteristics is his perfectly horizontal set of "handlebar" horns.  Most zebu have horns that arch upward, but he is the first I've seen that grow straight out to the sides.  It gives him such a great masculine appearance,  and I've never seen another animal like him!

Domino, like our other herd bull Rambo, is a grandson of America's first pair of red zebu (RCP Swede and RCP Little Red, imported from Sweden).  His father is RCP Little Swede, while his mother's lineage connects back to the same red legends.  He's truly got "RED" blood running through his veins.

Domino stands only 34" tall.  He is an excellent herd bull and is very vigilant to watch out for his ladies.  He won't let even his most ambitions cows go anywhere he wouldn't go.  He is very gentle, yet very serious about taking care of his herd.  He is simply the perfect bull to lead a herd and produce amazing offspring.

We feel very lucky to have been able to purchase him from his former home, where he sired many prized calves.  He is truly a one of a kind bull!

Don't miss an opportunity to pick up one of his calves.  You won't regret it.

This is a fantastic picture of Domino displaying his masculine headgear and his supermodel like appearance.  He is every cow's dream bull, standing in perfect form at his current 5 years of age.

Domino is quite the popular guy!

This gives a good view of Domino's paint features.

Rambo-

He is the coolest little bull around!  He has matured to stand a mere 34" tall, but his personality is what really sets him apart.  I have never met a zebu more playful than Rambo, who jumps up and does 360° spins in the air when he's happy to see you.  When he's feeling spunky, he loves to do playful battle with innocent bushes,  as if he were Don Quixote.

His bloodline is mostly red like our other bull Domino, but Rambo has matured to have a deep black front and rear, with a light black/grey band around the midsection,  while sporting white paint splashes on either side for extra bling.  He is a direct descendant of America's first pair of red zebu, his grandparents being RCP Swede and RCP Little Red (imported from Sweden).   One of their coveted bull calves,  Swede's Little Red, is Rambo's daddy.

Rambo will father many beautiful, small calves with good color genetics for black/white paint or red/white paint. calves.  He's very sweet and affectionate toward his gals and is always  a crowd favorite!

If there were ever an animal that deserved some dark shades and a black leather jacket, Rambo is it!

A current shot of Rambo in all his glory.  Check out the white paint splashes he sports on his neck, shoulder, and sides.  He has a white center line that runs along the ridge of his back from his shoulder blades to his hips.  This guy has a very rare black/white paint color pattern.  Rambo is a neat looking bull with a fun personality to match!

Another current picture of Rambo, or as my daughter calls him, "Rambo the jumping cow".

Meet Rambo.  Personality is his specialty.

Rocket-

Rocket will be one of our future herd sires in 3 or 4 years.  Like Domino, he has a fantastic red and white paint pattern that is absolutely incredible.  He is staying really small so far, and we have really high hopes for him as he grows up.  Keep your eyes open Domino, in a few years, Rocket's gonna be competin' for the ladies!!

Rocket strikes a pose, showing off his beautiful paint pattern.

"Hey Rocket, will you be my boyfriend????"

Justin-

We are holding this guy back in hopes of bringing out his father's pattern in future calves.  His dad, pictured, was one of a kind, so it's our hope that Justin will some day father calves that express this rare spotted pattern.  Watch his calves in a couple of years to see what happens!

Justin's pattern continues to change, reflecting some "spotty" patterns in his color.

Justin's very unique daddy, and his beautiful red mommy.

This is Little Swede, Domino's daddy (RIP).

He is the son of RCP Swede and RCP Little Red, the legendary zebu pair that left a red legacy with the zebu of North America.  They were the first red zebu brought into the United States, imported from Sweden.

Little Swede's full brother, Swede's Little Red, is Rambo's daddy.

We are fortunate to have such historic lineage and great genetics in our herd sire's.  A big thanks to Dennis Beranek and all others who were pioneers in the development of such beautiful colors into the American miniature zebu.
